Whilst the various sequels have sullied its legacy and the original was never exactly Oscar material American Pie has an iconic footnote in cinema history reserved thanks to Jason Biggs legendary coupling with an apple pie and the movie’s crowd-pleasing mix of gross-out humour and feel-good warmth.
